As local plumbers, we are experts when it comes to your pipes.  We can keep things flowing down and out without unnecessary clogs or back-ups. Plumbing is a modern convenience that most people don’t think of.  As long as the water comes out when the faucet is turned on, and the water subsequently flows down the drain, there is no cause to think about your pipes unless you are planning for a remodel.  Many people will go for years without a worry. Unfortunately, the moment that you spring a leak or a pipe bursts, plumbing becomes incredibly important, and if you ignore the problem you could have a flood on your hands before you know it.  We can help to ensure that this never happens by performing an inspection of your entire system.  If it appears that some of your pipes aren’t working properly, we recommend calling and scheduling an appointment immediately so that we can correct the issue before a big mess is made. In the meantime, here are some things about plumbers you may not know.
  • Plumbing is a passion.  As local plumbers, we like what we do.  We can directly impact the quality of life of our customers and provide relief in a leaky emergency.  We love being the hero so if you spring a leak and need help right away – give us a call.
  • Our trucks are stocked.  When you call a plumber, be sure to ask if they carry a full set of supplies and parts with them.  Many do not, and this creates a problem for homeowners with an immediate need. Without a stocked truck, some technicians will identify a problem only to return a few days later.  We know how inconvenient that can be and have a fully stocked truck at all times in order to get the job done quickly.  This way once you give us the go-ahead, we can start work immediately so that you can get back to preparing dinner, picking the kids up from school, getting ready for a meeting and all of the other things that make up a busy life.
  • The Super Bowl isn’t dangerous.  This is a funny one, but a myth has been circulating for decades that so many people flush during the Super Bowl halftime show that it causes pipes everywhere to burst.  While hilarious, this is completely untrue.  A lot of water is flushed during halftime, but no pipes have been harmed, as a result.  In fact, the only known story was when an old pipe in Utah burst but this was due to wear and age.
  • People spend a lot of time on the toilet.  The average person spends three years on the toilet, making indoor plumbing and a properly working system, extremely important.
  • Albert Einstein wanted to be one.  At one point, he made a statement that if he were to live life all over again, he would be a plumber and was given an honorary membership in the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, as a result.
As plumbers, we may not have a glamorous job but we are proud of what we do and our ability to keep you and your family comfortable. If you have any problems, are doing a remodel or building a home – give us a call so that we can ensure your plumbing is working correctly.
